Photographer

As the photographer of the walking group the shots I take are nearly always taken on the run! As a consequence when I get a really nice one I am very pleased. I have never taken a picture I intended they are always better or worse.
Of course walking and exploring the countryside are my first love, especially the navigating side of things. However the more photographs I succeed with, makes me more and more enthusiastic about my photography!

I use a Sony DSC-HX5V Digital camera. The HX5V's lens offers a useful 25mm wide-angle to an equally useful 250mm telephoto equivalent.

I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and express my appreciation for the help given, by my friend Sue Thompson (designated safeguarding lead) and others for some of the photographs taken.
